Customize Business Cards Online Thousands of Ways

Author: Angela Oliver
Choosing a business card design can be a difficult task. However, designing business cards online is quickly becoming the most popular method for creating quality business cards that help to properly promote businesses. It is essential that business cards are eye-catching and grab the attention of potential clients.

There are many design options available for business cards online. Here are some examples and how they can be implemented in business card design.

Backgrounds. There are literally thousands of backgrounds that can be used on a business card. Graphic designers have created backgrounds for just about any topic or type of business available. Whether the business is an accounting firm or a pet shop, there is a background. Backgrounds can also to be found to coordinate with a company logo.

Custom Graphics. When creating business cards online, it is possible to use the custom graphics of the company, it's a great way to include company logo or other representative company images on business cards. Online business card retailers make it very easy to put your custom graphics on your business card.

Borders or Simple Designs. For a simple but professional business card, there are many simple designs and ways to customized. Choose from a simple border all around the card, just on the bottom or top, or on the sides. Or, just choose a plain layout with simple lines or perhaps one simple graphic, such as company logo.

Other Styles of Business Cards. Traditionally, a business card is a standard size of 3.5 inches x 2 inches. However, there are some unique sizes available for business cards. Die cut business cards allow you to provide lots of information to clients. Unique business cards such as die cut and bi-cut are also more interesting to clients.

Fonts. There are as many fonts as there are business card designs. Choose a font that best suits the theme or background of the business card. For casual artistic cards, choose a coordinating font. For simple cards, choose a font that compliments the simple style, but perhaps adds a little dynamic to the card. Try an all caps font, or an italic font that gives the card movement/dimension. Choose font colors that coordinate with the background and that also are easy to read.

Layouts. Layouts vary depending of the background design chosen. Important things to be included in the layout consist of company name, contact information, promotional phrase or slogan. The company name should stand out, and the content of the layout should be easily legible with the given background.

There is a look at the ways you can customize business cards on line. With so many backgrounds, graphics, layouts, and other design elements, a customized business card is easy to create. Spend a little time, or several hours and come up with the business card that best suits your needs and the needs of your company.
