MLM Magic

Author: Jim Garvin

I made $5,000 a month after only six months !! You can do it to ! Join now ! Ground floor opportunity ! I bet you have seen these ads, did they make you just the least bit curious ?

What is the deal with all the MLM Companies ? I know someone who joined an MLM and they lost a lot of money. Yes, my uncle was in a MLM and he lost so much money that my aunt threw him out of the house.

So what is the real deal MLM ? Well it is somewhere in between both the examples. There are people who are really making some tremendous money, but there are a lot more people who lose money and drop out. The drop out rate in MLM is a staggering 90% !!

The reason most people will drop out after only 3 months is because they are not making any money. It is just that simple. if people don't make money they are not going to hang around month after month. It doesn't matter that their sponsor is making copies of his big bucks check every month and mailing it to them to see. That may excite the distributor the first month or two but the effects will wear off real fast if they are losing money.

So who is at fault here ? In my humble opinion, the person who sponsored the distributor is the culprit. When they are using the BIG HYPE type of recruiting practices, they are really setting up the average person for failure from the beginning. If the distributor is not making decent money after 3 months how is he ever going to make that $5,000 check by his or her 6 th month ?

There really is some great money to be made in MLM,but we really should take a more realistic approach to the industry. This is a business, it is not a get rich quick scheme. If you want a get rich quick program look somewhere else. But if you want to build a business that can potentiality pay you the kind of money that most people only dream of then this is it. You can make some tremendous money, but only if you have worked at it, and made a commitment to stay with it. I am not saying that you should stay with a program that you are losing money in month after month, with no relief in sight. That doesn't make sense.

You should first pick the right company to work with, if the pay plan requires you to have 100 or more distributors before you can make any decent money, forget it. Most people will not be able to hang in there long enough to reach that goal. You should also chose a company with products or services you will buy and use yourself. This shows others you believe in the products and the company. You must have a sponsor that is there to help you and answer your questions, because in the beginning we all need help. And finally the recruiting system has to be easy to duplicate for the average person, or you will never build a decent downline if your distributors don't have an easy to use system to build their business.
