Take Delivery From A Wholesaler

Author: Dustin Cannon

Have you ordered watches from a wholesaler? Is it your first time? If so, you need to do one very important thing. That being to make sure you are aware of how the shipping process works. If you are not sure about this you should most definitely ask before you get started. After all, you do not want to mess this part of your business up. If you do you may end up with a box full of watches being delivered at the wrong time, or to the wrong address. And losing inventory means losing money which is never a good thing to say the least.

Every watch wholesaler has a different way of doing things. Make sure that you are aware of every detail as far as the shipping process is concerned. This will allow you to stay sane when you know that your watches are on the way. There is nothing worse than having to worry about where your inventory is at!

Before you order any watches from a watch wholesaler, ask them the following questions. This will ensure that your order is safe from start to finish.

1. How do you ship your watches? This is very important so that you know what to look out for. Are the watches going to show up via UPS ground or Fed Ex? Simply knowing what to expect can help out in the long run.

2. Will my entire order be shipped at the same time? In many cases watch wholesalers will not be able to ship everything to you at the same time. This may happen for a number of different reasons. Your order may be too big, or maybe they do not have what you want in stock. Just make sure that you ask this question up front. If you don't you may go into panic mode when your order arrives for absolutely no reason.

3. Will I have to sign for my package? If so, you will need to make sure that you are available at all times. There is nothing more annoying than missing a package that you have been waiting for. If you know that you have to sign you can then keep your schedule clear.

4. When should I expect to receive my order? This will give you a good idea as to how you should schedule your time, as well as when you should be available to accept delivery.

Taking delivery of your orders is a very crucial part to working with any watch wholesaler. You should never take this part of business lightly. If you do you may run into problems from the start, and this will not bode well for the success of your business.
