Author: sherry
Description

The O2 Ice mobile phone is a sleek candy bar phone from O2 which works with both UMTS and GSM networks. The phone weighs just over 90grams and measures close to 117 x 49 x 14 mm. The O2 Ice mobile phone comes with a microSD card slot and 32mb of internal memory.

Features

The O2 Ice mobile phone has a good 256k color TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The phone supports Polyphonic as well as Mp3 ringtones. The O2 Ice mobile phone supports data networks like GPRS and high speed networks like EDGE. It also comes with Bluetooth and an Usb port. The downside for the phone is that there is not xHTML browser, so you will have to be content with browsing only WAP sites and nothing else.

The O2 Ice mobile phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera which can take photos at 1280 x 1024 pixels. The phone comes in a suave white color. The Ice is a GSM/GPRS phone featuring 3G support. A front cam for video calling. Features a 1.3 megapixel rear cam. The Ice is tall, thin and decidedly good looking. At 117 mm x 49 mm and just 14 mm thick it feels very good in the hand. The 92g of weight mean it is kind to the pocket too. Its whiteness is certainly sleek, and the O2 blue of the screen wallpaper adds to its wintery blue/white appeal. With additional software such as voice recorder, calculator, unit converter, stopwatch, and Web browser, as well as all the goodies O2 Active offers, there is certainly enough here to keep many users happy. Note, though, there is no email client. But it is the hardware design that will attract you, and probably, given that in general this is a fairly average handset, the hardware design that will keep you interested
Diary and task managers are built in and, interestingly enough, O2 provides some desktop software and a synch cable so you can share data with your PC. The Ice will synch with Outlook, or, if this is simply too much for you to cope with, you can use a provided scheduler to manage diary, tasks and contacts, backing up and managing the phone's SIM.
