Keep it simple
Yes, that's right. This is not the time yet for deep conversations, anything too poetic can be either not understood or misunderstood, especially if the girl you are contacting is in another country.

Be yourself

Dont be insecure
Insecurity is a massive turn off for women, on the other hand men who are confident can be tremendously attractive just by that quality alone. Never put yourself down in your emails, even if you feel like she will probably not like you this is not something you should express. If you really think you dont stand a chance, why would you email her? Aside from this, you are insulting to the woman if you act like you are not worthy of her. Many women are not too hung up on external appearances, even if she is gorgeous she will sooner fall in love with you if you are a great person, than if you are a super model who happens to be unattractive on the inside.
