Lets say youre having dinner with someone and you know that this is the last time you will ever see them again. What do you do? Do you talk about superficial things? Would you rush to out of there? Chances are you would relish every moment, talk about meaningful things and milk as much time as you could before you had to say good-bye.

Time, relationships and things are all parts of our lives that we sometime take for granted. We just think they will be there for ever. But they are not.

Hey, why take a New Years Resolutions seriously, it will come around again next year, and I will just set another one. Have you every thought this way? Have you even taken New Years for granted? Have you ever given yourself an EASY OUT of your commitment? The key to not breaking New Years Resolutions is not to give yourself any wiggle room.

Your health is serious stuff that should not be taken lightly. The reality is you are not promised another New Years Resolution.

If you set one, set it with the intentions that you have twelve months to accomplish and no more. Goal setting is very important, however, only for the right reasons. Giving yourself an easy out is a lame excuse and a fear of failure.
