Action Plan For Business Success

Author: Lama Kalla

Can you remember a time when you succeeded at something in your life? It could be something big, or something small. Can you remember how great it felt when you succeeded at it? How pleasurable was it?

Now a question for you when you were working towards this goal, did you have an action plan to achieve it? Or did you randomly do whatever came to you each day?

I suspect you had an action plan, didn't you? If it wasn't written out, it was at least in your head, wasn't it?

Many people, particularly those new to the business decide they want to create a business, and then fail to create any sort of action plan. If you don't have an action plan, how are you going to know what to do each day in order to achieve your goals?

Yeah, you might have a rough idea in your head, but how well is that going to serve you? What if you forget vital steps or haven't thought of a key component for your business success?

An action plan is a must because you need to know what you have to do each day, week, month and year to get yourself to the level of business success you desire.

The plan MUST be written down so that you can clearly see it and be reminded of what you have to do and where you are working towards. I work on many different products and am very creative. For every single product I create I write out an action plan of what needs doing in order for it to happen and timescales for each step. This is then stuck on the door of my office so that every single day I can see it and cross items off as I do them.

Crossing the items off gives you a psychological boost because you can physically see your progress towards your goals. This helps you to stay motivated and feel good about your business.

If it is written down then you can be held accountable for your actions. What if your spouse looked at the list each day and said, "How are you doing with that? ? or you reported to them your progress each night? Another key of my personal success is that I have a friend who I am held accountable too. We talk once a week and talk about what we have achieved over the previous week and how much we both achieved. We then set our goals and targets for the next week.

It's amazing just how productive this makes you. Suddenly you have someone else who is interested in your progress and if you are competitive, you've got someone you need to beat!

Whatever your Internet Marketing dreams, create an action plan so that you know what you are doing, when you are doing it and when you have achieved it. Doing this will take you on a short cut to business success.
