Your destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. Many people have the right aims in life - they just never get around to pulling the trigger. When you determine what you want, you have made the most important decision in your life. You have to know what you want in order to attain it.

"Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will do it" (Ps. 37:5, NAS). If we are faithful, God will look after our success. Success is the result of a deliberate decision, an adjustment of your life to the will of God. Guidance means that I can count on God. Commitment means that God can count on me.

A wise man makes his own decisions; an ignorant man follows public opinion. You are where you are today because you have chosen to be there.

Be decisive even if it means you'll sometimes be wrong. The key to your future is that you can still choose. What you commit yourself to be will change you from where you are into what you can be.
