Sony Ericsson W600 Walkman Phone

Author: Brian Lupichuk

Sony Ericsson W600 Walkman phone is one sweet mobile and portable phone that fits right into the palm of your hands. Comes with full MP3 Player, built in camera, video recorder, World phone and Blue tooth enabled.

The Sony Ericsson w600 Walkman phone has got a red face plate and comes with attached headphones. This Sony Ericsson w600 Walkman phone doesn't actually support external media by way of the MemoryStick Duo slot. this is nice to know. It has a 256MB integrated memory, MP3 and AAC support, comes with a a standard 1/8th-inch stereo headphone jack, an FM tuner so you can get any fm radio station you want,

comes with a 1.8-inch 220 x 176 pixel 262k color display which has a very nice picture for a small screen of this size, it also comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera with a flash this is very handy when you are out and about and you don't have to drag your digital camera around with you, you will also getstereo speakers now this is a cool feature and just shows how much technogoly is changing very rapidly, this walkman phone is Bluetooth enabled ,with blue tooth technogoly you know you got the best, it's due to be releashed in the fall of 2006 and should be a very good seller.

At first glance, the Sony Ericsson w600 Walkman phone has buttons, switches, and speakers in a few places. But don't let this bother you. You will also notice that in an age of cell phones getting smaller and smaller, this one is a tad bigger than the rest. But it is by no means large in any way. With all the features it packs inside, it's size is quite applying. The bright orange color is what will make the Walkman stand out from many of the other mp3 phones. The number buttons are a little recessed and a little bit widely spaced which makes dialing a bit awkward but the five way direction pad is comfortable and very easy to use. The keys are backlit in light orange which matches the phone's look and makes it easy to dial in the dark.

Inside the Walkman box it comes with a home charger, a pair of very good stereo earbud headphones with inline mic, and a USB data cable for uploading and downloading music.

The front face plate will move up or swivel to the right so you can access the phones numbers.

The quad band GSM radio covers 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and is EDGE ready. This simply means that you are going to have very good power when making a call anywhere in the world that GSM service is available.

The phone offers both Bluetooth and IrDA for communication with other phones, PDAs and computers; and of course Bluetooth headsets now you know that you have got top quality technogoly working for you.

The Sony Ericsson W600i Walkman phone is very quick navigating through menus and settings, and games were equally impressive. This is very good to know.

Unfortunately there is no expansion slot for more data storage. For that, you'll need to move up to the Sony Ericsson W800 when it comes available. This is the one and only setback to this very impressive walkman mp3 phone.
