2006 Hurricane Season; Can We Kill Them Before They Form?

Author: Lance Winslow

There is no doubt that the 2005 Hurricane Season was one we will not soon forget. Meteorologists believe that 2006 will not be a walk in the park either. Indeed the 2006 Hurricane Season will be above normal. Is there any hope for finding a way, which will allow us to kill these Hurricanes before they form? Cant we do something?

Indeed scientists have been studying this possibility and some of them theorize that it maybe nearly impossible to kill a Category Five Hurricane like Hurricane Katrina, Rita or Wilma, but it maybe able to prevent them from forming. How so you ask?

Evaporation Reduction indeed is one of the best ways to prevent Hurricanes from forming, as it allows the localized wind shear and relative wind to keep the circular flows from growing. It is very wise of the scientists to point this out and there are some other interesting web links and research on this very important point to preventing killer Hurricanes from forming. It is amazing the mixture of pop culture conspiracy theory and real science here in this subject.

But is it truly possible to modify the water droplets so they evaporate at slower rates or not at all, thus depriving the ever-increasing circular airflows of a wall to block the relative winds, which would normally prevent it from forming into a Tropical Storm or Hurricane. Some believe it is, I am one of them what do you think? Think on it.
